Logan Johnson is a Composer, Pianist, Arranger, and Songwriter from St. Louis, Missouri. Music has been a part of Logan's life for as long as she can remember. She began playing piano at age 5, and over the last two decades, she has practiced and molded her craft. Her first memory of loving music was watching classic television shows and loving the theme songs. Logan’s experience of playing different styles such as: Classical, R&B, Pop, Jazz, Gospel, and Musical Theatre allowed her to create her unique sounds and style. Her compositional skills range from orchestral symphonies to electronic soundscapes.

Logan has composed music for various projects that have premiered in multiple film festivals throughout the country, her recent projects include "Liminality" (Dir. Celeste O’Conner) which premiered at the 2024 Essence Film Festival and won “Best Short Award”, “The McFaltons” (Dir: Lance Montgomery) that was selected for the 2024 International Black Film Festival, and “Hopeless” (Dir. Gem Little), which was selected for the Filmteenth Festival, the Roxbury International Film Festival and many more.


In 2022, She Interned with World-renowned television and Film Composer Mark Isham under the Television Academy Foundation. Logan also received her Master's in Screen Scoring at New York University, where she was awarded the prestigious Alan Menken Scholarship. She is a member of the Alliance for Women Film Composers, Composer Diversity Collective, and Grammy U.

Logan’s passion for film scoring is rooted in her desire to invoke the same emotions in the audience that she felt when she first fell in love with film scores. Her goal is to create music so memorable that people will remember it for years to come
